Saborea Festival 2016 – What to do This Weekend

Close your eyes. Imagine a beautiful beach and a weekend full of delicious food from Puerto Rico’s best restaurants. Want to make this daydream a reality?  You can, this weekend at Saborea 2016!

As Puerto Rico’s largest culinary event of the year, Saborea is a can’t-miss event for foodies and non-foodies alike. Taking place on Escambrón Beach, Saborea will feature over 30 restaurants, 50 different personalities, and plenty of wine, beer, spirits and Puerto Rican rum to keep you full and happy all weekend long. We’ve created a guide to navigate your way through all the favor this weekend.

Bubbles & Bites

Thursday, April 7

If you’re craving an early start to your weekend, then head to the rooftop pool of the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino for Saborea’s first ever Bubbles & Bites. Enjoy tapas and bubbly, all served by Puerto Rico’s top chefs in a fun party atmosphere.

A Privileged Taste of Saborea

Friday, April 8

At this exclusive and intimate event, twenty Puerto Rican chefs will each host a table with 10 guests and serve up an exquisite four course meal just for their table. The best part? Wine pairing is included and proceeds will be donated to PRHTA’s Educational Fund.  This event will be hosted at the Condado Plaza Hilton.

Saturday and Sunday

April 9 & 10

Saborea’s main events start bright and early at 11 am on Saturday and Sunday. Take a stroll through Saborea Village and explore all the different areas and events that will be hosted throughout the days. Learn the pro’s secrets during the GE Kitchen Demos, try some of Puerto Rico’s finest offerings at the Tasting Pavillion, satisfy your sweet tooth at Brews & Stews, and much more!

Saborea Puerto Rico is the largest culinary event of the entire year. Even if you don’t consider yourself a foodie, this is a can’t-miss event full of fun, passion, music, and, of course, an abundance of delicious food!
