What motivated you to become an Old San Juan Tour Guide?
I was looking for something different, an experience where I could learn something new and share that knowledge while also meeting people from all over the world. I also loved the idea of getting to learn more about history and myself.
What do you like the most about your new role?
I like that the job feels unique compared to a “traditional” job. It’s a new experience everyday. There’s no specific routine. You have the chance to be you while providing people with a new and unique experience. I also really like that the coworkers are super attentive, and if you need anything they are there to help.
What have you learned so far? How do you feel?
I have learned a lot more about Old San Juan history. I feel super happy, excited and grateful for the opportunity the company provided me.
What does Old San Juan mean to you?
OSJ means home to me. I have been coming here since I was a child, I have worked in Old San Juan before. It is literally like my second home.
