The way to one’s heart is through their stomach. Or so the saying goes. And with the global popularity of cooking on the rise (think celebrity chefs, cooking channels, etc. Move over fast food!), there’s never been a better way to reach someone’s heart than through the magical act of cooking. Tasting and learning about local food and cuisine has always been an intricate part of traveling, but more and more travelers don’t just want to eat the local food, they want to learn how to cook it too! That was just the case with our blogger-friend Greg (our first-ever booking through Twitter!), who wrote a wonderful review of his cooking class experience on his travel blog:
“This was an awesome way to spend our first full morning/afternoon in San Juan and we learned so much from (Chef) Kathy. It also made me wonder where deep fried plantains have been all my life until now.”
Please check out Greg’s blog for the full post. There’s some great pics (including the amazing view!):
