Over 10 teams from across the Caribbean competed at the five-day event in Miami: Taste of the Caribbean, one of the most important culinary competitions in the Caribbean! The Puerto Rico National Culinary Team, defending champions from 2012, brought home another impressive collection of medals and awards, once again showcasing our culinary traditions and excellence. Way to make Puerto Rico proud!
Although this year’s championship title went to Barbados, Puerto Rico received several medals and high honors such as Caribbean Bartender of the Year, Best Rum Drink, and Taste of the Island’s People’s Choice Award.
