The minimum to run our Old San Juan Food Tour and the Rum Runners Cocktail Tour is 2. If we have not met the 2 person minimum guests will be advised and refunded or given the chance to book on another date.

Please be sure to check the LOCAL TIME in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico observes Atlantic Standard Time and does NOT use Daylight Savings Time. Flavors of San Juan is NOT responsible if you are late to a tour because you are unaware of the local time zone.

Can I shop during the tour?


We ask for the sake of staying on our food-tasting schedule that guests do NOT shop on tour but we do provide some suggestions of great shops to return to after the tour.

Tips to make your cultural food tour more pleasant


Wear proper shoes for walking about 2.5 miles over uneven streets/sidewalks, steep grades and pavement. Protect your skin from the strong Caribbean sun by wearing sun block and/or a hat. Wear lightweight, light-colored cotton clothes to avoid overheating. Please give advance notice of diet restrictions (allergies, vegetarians, etc.)
