Dine on a progression of sips and bites across three tasting spots while you see the authentic side of the oldest city flying under the United States flag: its quirky personality, rich cuisine and interesting history. Tours depart in the afternoon so you can catch a glimpse of Old San Juan as the yellow Caribbean sun fades, leaving a lavender and burnt orange sky with wisps of pink. This tour weaves through the city to three independently-owned restaurants highlighting Puerto Rico’s great food plus one famous cocktail. Get ready for mojitos or piña coladas, mofongos and cap it off with dessert.

Bilingual guides at Flavors Food Tours create context so you can better appreciate and understand Old San Juan and the island as a whole by connecting the dots between our history, food and culture.  Our small “Covid-19 ready tours” will keep you safe while you skip the lines to dine with us for “do not miss” restaurants and foodie scenes around the city.

In a few short hours you will leave with the confidence and knowledge of a local that will serve you during the remainder of your stay in sunny Puerto Rico.

  • Sip on an iconic rum cocktail – pure vacation mode ON!

  • Indulge yourself and savor Puerto Rican humble “must eat” cuisine: local single origin coffee, rice and beans, alcapurrias and enjoy the signature Puerto Rican dish: mofongo

  • Stroll the cobblestone streets of this 500 year old fortified Spanish colonial city and learn about its unique architecture

  • See and photograph historic landmarks in the Americas and re-live the past on our small, boutique tours
